Happy Thanksgiving from PNGLC!
Why did the turkey cross the road?
Because the Bill of Lading instructed him to.
Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at PNGLC!
We would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude to all of our customers! You are the reason that we come to work each day, and you are the reason that we continue to grow.
We understand that the holiday season is a crucial time for your business, and we work very hard to bring you efficient and budget-friendly freight options. Throughout the year we have partnered with agricultural businesses that bring those Thanksgiving turkeys to your table. We have partnered with retailers to help with forecasting, visibility, and secure product shipments in preparation for Black Friday. And we have partnered with other industries to give them the peace of mind to simply enjoy their Thanksgiving holiday.
While we are closed on Thanksgiving Day, our TMS – MyPNGLC™ – continues to be available to you 24/7 so that you can monitor your shipments. Carriers are also closed on Thanksgiving Day, and the few carriers that are open on Black Friday (November 23rd) will be running on a skeleton crew. Ports and Airports will also be closed for freight on Thanksgiving Day, but they will be open normal business hours on Friday (November 23rd). Thursday and Friday are not considered transit days.
All of this means that Wednesday (November 21st) is a very busy day for shipping. If you need freight moved, be sure to call us as soon as possible for the best options.
Wishing you a Thanksgiving full of food and festivities!
